A pleasant family stroll through the cork oak forest, best enjoyed early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
Bring your swimsuit so you can head to Mare e Sole Beach afterward—it’s absolutely stunning with its fine sand.

Tour de l'isolella (2451045)

10 mn from the house  EASY - 2,8Km - 0H55

On the Isolella Peninsula, this short walk will take you to the beautiful Anse Sainte-Barbe, and then up to the base of the Genoese Tower of Isolella, where you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the Gulf of Ajaccio.

Tour du Frassu (1657370)

3 mn from the house. EASY- 4,57Km - 2H00

A pleasant short hike through the maquis to the Frassu Tower, which offers a stunning view of the Gulf of Ajaccio, Porticcio, and the Capitello Tower. Be careful: the end of the trail leading to the tower is hard to find, so keep an eye out for the cairns starting from the information sign.

Monte Gozzi (342483)

30 from the house . Medium - 5,83Km - 2H35

This hike is best done early in the morning during the summer, and as always, be sure to bring water.
At the end of the hike, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of Ajaccio Bay and the Gulf of Lava.
The trail climbs for the first 20 minutes, but after that it’s an easy walk all the way to the end. The return trip is easy.

Mont d'Aragnascu (12295291)

35 mn from the house. Medium- 8,23Km -3H25

A great hike, best done in the morning. Stunning views of the Prunelli and Gravone valleys. No difficulty; the trail is very well-marked with yellow signs.

Sentier des douaniers 

45 mn from the house. Easy- 4,00 Km - 2H30

A 2.5-hour round-trip hike, easy, with a few shaded sections. Beautiful views of the northwest face of the Sanguinaires Islands and the Parata Peninsula. Access the Saint-Antoine beach, which you cross to get past the wooden fence; continue along the path for 10 minutes and you’ll arrive at the stunning Capo di Feno beach. Beach huts are open from May through late September. No internet and phone.

Les POZZI - Val d'èse.

1:15 mn from the house. Medium 4:30

One of my favorite hikes in Corsica, best done from June to September.
The trailhead is a 1:15 drive from the house at the Val d'Eze resort. Honestly, it’s beautiful, but be sure to check the weather before you go, as conditions in the mountains can be unpredictable. If you leave the house at 7:00 a.m., you’ll start hiking at 8:15 a.m. and be back at the trailhead by 12:30 p.m., with the option to have lunch at the small restaurant next to the trailhead.
You can also leave later and bring a picnic to enjoy at the top of the hike at Les Pozzi.
Bring water, but it’s cooler at the top of the hike—around 22°C.

Departing from Porto, come discover the magnificent Scandola Nature Reserve and the Piana calanques on a small-group boat tour; a semi-submarine is also available.
